When Grizabella sings memory and on a few other occations there is a young cat (I always forget her name) that sings part of memory with her and solo it at a couple of occations. What I cant make right is whats her relations with Grizabella? She is obviosly to young to have met here when she was a Jellicle and still she is connected somehow since she sings her song.

One idea that struck me is that she could be an image of Grizabella as young but thats maybe something I got wrong...

There are several ways you may think of it... She could be an image of a young Grizabella... She could just be a kitten who doesn't see the bad in Grizabella. What is wonderful about this musical is that a lot is left open for the audience member to look into and figure out for themselves...

And the kitten is Jemima (UK) or Sillabub (US).

Indeed! And good writers often left thoose kind of "think for yourself" blankets in theyre creations. When you think of it, most of the cats have a lifetime off stories before theyre aperes in that one magic night.

Talking bout Grizabella, is I am the only one thinking that her life is enough interesting to make a movie (or a prequell musical) on?
