Tonight's episode was awesome! I've been reading the books for years and though the show is very different, I think it's fabulous. Guilty pleasure for sure. My sister and I turn into little giggling schoolgirls every time it's on, haha. I was so excited about this episode, it was great.

I LOVE IT SO MUCH. This and The Hills are the only shows I actually plan on watching....so Monday nights are my fave.

Yeah, same here. I was expecting her to say, "I have a sex tape." Not that. My mouth literally dropped open, haha.
And I was really proud of Eric for coming out. So different from the books, though. In the books, Dan is the one who questions his sexuality and claims he's gay and gets a boyfriend.

In the books Chuck is always sort of ambiguous in his sexuality. I definitely always interpreted that he's gay, but he's really more of a side character in the books. In the last book I read, Dan fooled around with a boy at a party, went through a "self-discovery crisis", and announced to the world that he's gay. I didn't finish the series but I heard that Dan's ex-boyfriend ends up with Chuck. -shrug-

SERIOUSLY. My friends and I were trying to guess last week, and we said it was that as a joke, because we were like...NO WAY could it be that.
Then she said it and these were the three reactions:
Me: "OH MY GOD!" (shrieked) *hands over mouth until the end of the episode*
Emily V: "No." *starts crying* (not even kidding)
Emily C: *huge intake of air, buries head in pillow, shoves brownie in mouth*
I never read the books but I just love how ridiculously dramatic and chic the show is. I don't even care. Haha.

so, how do you guys think it happened?
our theories:
1) serena & georgina were super messed up on drugs and alcohol at a party, some dude tried to rape one of them, they either accidentally or out of self defense, killed him and then disposed of the body.
2) serena & georgina were super messed up on drugs and alcohol at a party, they pressured someone to drink more/do more drugs, or accidentally gave them something too intense, they OD'd and died.
we hope those are it. i just dont think it would be like...a shooting, or stabbing or gang fight. i cant picture serena shanking anyone.
SO FRICKING GOOD.

I cried when she went back to her dad too.. even though I sort of loathe what her character has become. And I cried when Eric was talking with his mom and sister... Yeah, I get very emotionally invested, haha. And my guess it option 2. I'm betting Georgina might have been mostly responsible, it seemed like she was taking advantage of Serena based on what I heard on the tape.
