HELP! I am auditioning for Godspell on the part of Joanne, and we aren't allowed to sing pieces from it. I need a good energetic song that is in the same genre. I have a range from tenor to soprano, so that's not a problem, and I can also belt very well. I would like something that would be easy to create movement for. Any ideas?

My ideas:
"Bring on the Men" from Jekyll and Hyde
"Fame" from Fame
"The Wizard and I" from Wicked
"Cain't Say No" from Oklahoma

Those are far too overdone. And if someone ever tells me they are going to audition with Wicked, I have to restrain myself from killing them

Might I suggest Jesus Christ Superstar.
If your auditioning for a religious show, why not use some religious music?
However, do NOT sing I Don't Know How To Love Him unless you can really rock the belty notes in the middle.
Maybe "Everything's Alright" from Superstar.
