Later this year I will be auditioning for Godspell for a community theater group. I did the show in High School (many years ago, 97') and was in the 'chorus'. My voice has improved since those days (Tenor 1 to Baritone), but I am curious what part is best for my voice. Also, what song would be a good choice for that kind of show. I am looking at singing "Close Every Door" from Joseph and writing Jesus, Judas, and All Good Gifts solo on the audition sheet, but any help would be appreciated.

To be honest when your doing godspell I would be careful doing anything from "Joseph" it is a great musical but I would bet alot of people would do music from it, considering the concept is somewhat the same. So if your looking to stand out I would stay away from Joseph. But that is my two cents on this thread.
