God Bless William FinnI went to see Make Me A Song (a revue of Finn's work) in London last night. I love A New Brain and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee to bits and I wanted to see some of his other stuff... It was incredible. They arranged Sailing and Set Those Sails so the two ran into each other - It brought tears to my eyes, absolutely fab. Has anyone else seen it?
For the record, Ian "H" Watkins got on my nerves a bit...

I saw it and also really enjoyed it. I actually thought "H" fit in there well and was good. My favourite performances were "Stupid things I won't do", "Just one" which Sally Anne Triplett did extremely well I thought, "What more can I say", "I'm not that smart" and the ballad that Simon sings, I can't remember it but it's about a break up and very sad. Sally Ann Triplett was fantastic - Her voice is so powerful !
H was fine with the more humorous pieces like I'm Not That Smart and March of the Falsettos, but I just think his voice wasn't powerful enough for some of the more serious, emotional stuff.
Was Simon's ballad When the Earth Stopped Turning?
Four Jews in a Room Bitching was brilliant too
