For our late winter (Febuary) concert in chours we are singing Getting to Know you as one of our songs. Since for the holiday show we sang mostly latin and spanish songs, and last year our songs sound like they came from a little kids t.v. show, I was super excited about singing 2 broadway song this year (the other is Some Where over the rainbow). Little did I know that for both songs they cut out a big chunk of the beganing and the altos (me) sing wierd parts and ohh and ahh durning pointless parts. I know I can sing the saprono part for both of these songs since I sing show tunes all the time, and these two are constantly stuck in my head, hence then in my voice. It is so bothering. Also in the Disney's Sing Along songs, durning the Hukuna Matta part, the altos don't sing for have the song, just say hukuna--matta hukuna--mattata. It's so annoying! any one care to comment on my pain?
