Getting out of hand?Ok i dont have a problem with people sharing their singing talent (or lack of it in some cases) but oh my word its suddenly flooded the boards. On this board alone we dont have 1 but 2(!!!) 'official singing threads' its just becoming a little bit annoying...

Don't worry, these things happen. Sometimes it's virtual families, sometimes it's questionaires, other times it's singing threads. Things like this pop up every now and then and die out naturally when people get bored of them.
They never bother me, if someone is enjoying them, I say let them.

I don't have a problem with it. It's fun and helpful to share vocal clips with people and get feedback from them. And at this point it's far from what we would historically consider "out of hand."

I think though that peopl arent honest with people and tell them they have a nice voice sometimes when they havent just to keep them happy and this isnt giving people feedback that will help them on the same hand though telling someone the truth when they are awful can dent there confidence and hurt....i thin singing thread are usful if you say have an audition and need an opinion of which song you should choose to show off your voice best i think that would be help ful.

Before anyone asks, this doesn't apply to virtual musicals. Or eWeddings. Only Mel and I can do that kind of coolness.
