General South Pacific related help

Just found out today, our schools next show is South Pacific,

Firstly I've looked up character lists and a synopsis and song list but I can't seem to find a song list WITH the characters that sing it.

Secondly, I was thinkin Nellie but i'm unlikely to get that so i was thinking Dinah or Janet. The parts list i have says they have singing parts and i was wondering how big is the part and what songs do they sing?
Thanks if You can help, much appreciated,

Hey I'm from Devon too!!! Just finished a run of South Pacific with my amatuer society lol

The Nurses that you are thinking of; Dinah or Janet ( in my production it was Lisa and Pamela) have a solo in ' I'm gonna wash that man right outta my hair.'

If you laugh at different comics,
If you root for different teams,
Waste no time, weep no more,
Show him what the door is for.

Not very much as you can tell!

The problem with South Pacific I find is that it is very much a male dominated show. The Nurses are just there to look pretty etc but that's my opinion.

I went for Nellie but as I'm 16 I was too young!!!

I will post a song list with characters in a moment.

Good luck Very Happy
