Could it be so that perhaps the funniest bits in the musical come in those numbers where the Narrator doesn't sing, except for Close Every Door (of course)? I've thought this could be so in the three funny songs that the Brothers sing, as well as the Pharaoh's Elvis-styled song. The faux-country, faux-French and faux-Jamaican accents they employ could sound absolutely hilarious, and Pharaoh could tickle you pink.
