Hey guys, I just found out that the only role(besides ensemble) that is open for my audition for Grease is "frenchie". We need to sing 16 bars of a song from "grease". Since frechie doesnt have any of her own songs, i was wondering if anyoine had a suggestions for which song and which 16 bars from the show i should sing? Auditions are this saturday so i'll reaaalllly appreciate any help you could give me! Thanks a bunch! =D

Personally I really don't like that song, you could sing the reprise of Look At Me I'm Sandra Dee, you could also sing the paradoy for the Alma Mater which is sung by the Greasers who could sing the first part of the song:
I saw a dead skunk on the highway
and I was goin' crazy from the smell
'cause when the wind was blowin' my way
it smelled just like the halls of Old Rydell

You could continue if you wanted too and go up to

'Cause you got memories of Old Rydell

does it have to be from the show?
i think that one of audrey's songs from little shop of horrors would be good. her character is similar to frenchie's. 'somewhere that's green' would be good. even though sometimes it's overdone. as long as you make it your own, i think that would be a good choice. hope i helped some and break a leg at the audition!
