Freddie Goes Metal RecordingHi, I'm sorry if this has been discussed before. -.-"
I'm Freddie, in a production of the Broadway version of Chess, and I'm searching for a recording of #23 - Freddie Goes Metal.
Are there any recordings of this piece at all?
It would be very helpful for practice.
Thank You!

There is one recording of "Freddie Goes Metal" in the end of "the Interview" on the Actors' Fund of America Tour Recording. It is the same lyric, but not the same actor as in the Broadway Production.

There has never been a studio recording or an official live recording of "Freddie Goes Metal." Of course, it's primarily a variant on "What a Scene" / "The Deal" in a different key, and lasts less than two minutes. But the AFA recording is no more legit than the recordings of the song that were around long before that concert. Along with "Let's Work Together," it is one of the few songs that has never been put on record.
