I've only listened to the original london recording. The actress playing Donna leaves much to be desired vocally. She does not do "The Winner Takes It All" justice. I wish there was a Broadway recording...

I would have loved to hear Louise Pitre as Donna! My godmother saw her (lucky her) and she said she did the part justice.

I've seen the Dutch MM 5 times and I love Simone Kleinsma playing Donna..
I've heard other cast recordings but I always prefer the Dutch Donna

FavouritesI only have the original London Cast Recording, which is not as polished as I'd like.
As far as Donnas are concerned, I really enjoyed Helen Hobson. She gave a truly compelling, committed performance and hit the nail on the head as far as the style of the show was concerned - not too light, not too dark but with enought texture to keep things interesting.

I've got the Dutch, Swedish, German, and Spanish versions and the German one is definitely my favourite. Possibly because I also saw the show in Hamburg I'm a bit biased though. I also think the Dutch version is very good. Spanish is definitely my least favourite.

I have London, German, Swedish and Spanish albums, but don't care much to listen to them. I've only listened to Original London cast and a little bit of Spanish one. Hated the OLC.
I'll probably choose my favourite Donna when I listen to all albums I have. Right now I don't like any of Donnas I've heard.
I've seen two different Donnas in the Moscow production. The first that I saw was a complete disappointment, the other, Lika Rulla, is a great performer, but I don't like her as Donna. Probably, she's too young or something. I don't know. She was awesome in Chicago as Velma Kelly.
