For those who don't like In to the woodsI am sorry this will surely offend most of you here, but I welcome every kind of ideas here, from those who like it or dislike it.
The reason I take a dislike to it is the recitatives. Not euphonic in the least, to me. I have had enough of through-song style in Les Mierables by Sondheim but in Into the woods, there are even more!
Please do give your opinions, maybe you can make my like it oneday.

So am I. He's made a few equally bizarre and inaccurate posts in the Les Mis section.

Did he just imply that Into the Woods was "even more" "through-song style" than Les Miserables? Into the Woods actually does have spoken dialogue, whereas Les Miserables has... one line that isn't sung? Maybe two? >_>

I'm really enjoying the idea of "Les Miserables by Sondheim." I mean... I love Les Mis, I love Sondheim, but if they collided... scary...
