For the highly talented people who love Wicked

Here is a fun project. Idea One day I was looking for toys r us and saw all these playsets. And I thought...what if Wicked had a miniature playset. Just like the little play castles you see or something like that. I tried to start on way but believe you me. It's not easy. I tried to at first make a little bubble like the one Galinda floats down with at the beginning. Then The little dragon at the top and little clocks and pulleys and all that stuff.
It would just be so cool to have one. I mean I have a little sibling that loves wicked. And I jst think it would be so cool if she would be able to renact wicked scenes right there with her own little toys. So go ahead give it a try! Not for my little sibling just for something that would be creative and fun to do and maybe even you would one day that you have finished your little set you might want to pop in the soundtrakc and have your little figures dance on the wicked stage you made yourself. Trust me it should be something fun to do!

sounds like a cool idea! Mr. Green they should start selling those at the wicked giftshop!

I actually have a Wizard of Oz Polly Pocket set. My aunt found it at our cousin's yard sale and got it for me for Christmas last year. It has all the major characters of the movie plus the Lollypop Guild and the little set it goes with has Glinda's bubble, the Wizard's balloon, Munchkinland, The Emerald City and the Witch's castle. It's pretty cool. There's a button that makes the Witch melt and a pile of melted clothes appears. My friends have found hours of entertainment in it.

I probably shouldn't be as excited about that as I am!

That's because it's based on The Wizard of Oz, not Wicked.

Calm down. Around here, we like to use only one exclamation point, and only if it's necessary.

A nong? I won't even ask.
But the point of making a post is that people would like to read other peoples' opinions. The opinions asked for in this thread were stated, and the thread ended. People then saw that there was a new post in this thread, but it was just some fangirl saying "lol." Do you really think that people would actually want to read a post that only says "lol?" I'm not mad or anything, it's just really annoying when people bring bad a dead thread to say something worthless. That's all. Smile

lol i have that little set too! how pathetic i paid like 50 bucks! and ironicly the only pieces i didnt loose were elphaba, galinda and the wiz lol
DanceTenLooksThree

Woah, I'm glad this thread was revived. I would love to make one, or see one, or something. lol.

This sounds so cool!

It would be amazing to have one of these! Someone should write to the producers or the theatre or something.

It would be so cool to be able to run through the whole show and be able to control it yourself. Like, having the music come out of some speakers in the set or something?

Oooh, and it would be good if a little miniture Glinda came down from the top left of the set in her bubble. Although that would mean it would have to be electronic and therefore very expensive. And to have a little miniture lift to stick Elphaba on which rises up in Defying Gravity with a real little cloth behind her, swirling by a little wind machine (expensive). And a silhouette (sp?) curtain which you can pull across yourself and a backlight comes on and you stick Elphaba on a little trap door which decends and you see Elphie melt! And the time dragon clock to move at the beginning with the smoke and everything (expensive)!

Oooh, I'm very excited now!!!!

Even though I probably will never have one. Sad
Sweeney Hyde

It would be more fun for a show like Sweeney Todd (working trap door/chair, smoking oven, grinder, Pirelli's cart) Laughing
DanceTenLooksThree

They should just have one for all shows....Broadway in a Box!
Eponine93

^ Oh my god. Yes. That would be awesome! Not only would that be really cool, it would help kids learn the plots of musicals.

Besides, if they made one of the Les Mis revival, I'd have Aaron Lazar in a box. Laughing
PappyCat

As for the Polly Pocket, if you google "Polly Pocket Wizard of Oz" it should come up with some ebay auctions that have it. (For some reason, it didn't work as well when I actually searched Ebay.)
