Witches of Oz

For Princess Bride Fans! This has probably been posted before (or is a well-known fact) but i just figured this out the other day.
Carol Kane, who played Valerie, Miracle Max's wife, in The Princess Bride, is Madame Morrible in L.A.!
I was really surprised about this. Was anyone else?

Sorry, but Carol Kane left the show at the end of 2007.
Morrible is now played by Jo Anne Worley.

Oh, right
But I still think that that connection is cool.

What's the connection between them both?

A lot of movie stars got their starts on stage, and vice versa. It's not a big deal. I can name tons of bigger movie stars that were more successful on stage than Carol Kane.

There's loads, for instance:
Miriam Margoyles (Original London Morrible) was the voice of one of the sheepdogs in Babe.
Susie Blake (London Morrible) from Coronation Street.
And the new London Morrible is from something as well, I can't remember what.

Carole Shelley was the voice of Lady Cluck in the Disney version of Robin Hood!!!!!
And Rue McClanahan who was a Madame Morrible somewhere was one of the Golden Girls.

I believe Miriam Margoyles was also Professor Sprout in HP and the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet.

She's also the dentist's assistant in Little Shop of Horrors. She has, like, one line, but she gets beat up by Orin a few times.
