flashes- lighting questionDoes anyone have a suggestion for flashes of light that we want to go off during the transformation- Like a strobe that just fires once? Can that be patched into the board and given a dimmer that will fire it once?

This may seem irrelavant, but at what point in the transformation are you doing the single flash?

Ours is kind of hard to explain...
In our castle set (where the Transformation took place), we had little slits all over the set. They were so small that the audience couldn't see any of them. In fact, I didn't even know we were there until the second-last Tech rehearsal when we used full lighting, etc. We had tons of fog come out- some on the deck level, and some from the second level, where the Beast was. While all this was happening, our ASM's were hiding inside the castle set holding gigantic follow-spots. They just moved them around and the light shone through the set to distract the audience. Then, Prince switches with Beast, and done.

We don't have a video of the Transformation on YouTube.
So I'll contact the girl who puts all of our videos up, and ask if she can post the one of the Transformation.
