so I know fiyero and elphaba get together in the novel and in the musical...and I know he cheats on his wife in the novel to be with elphaba.......but in the musical what exactly happens...does he cheat on glinda?...or just fall out of love with her?....also this is off topic but realted.....

is Glinda's I'm not that girl in a different key than Elphaba's...because I can sing Glinda's fine//but i can barely hit the bottom note of elphie's ..thanks.

Well, Glinda and Fiyero are never married, though Glinda does pretty much force engagement on him. This, along with Glinda's pretending not to be bothered by the propaganda about Elphaba, ticks Fiyero off considerably, and he later leaves her.

I will warn you that this forum has a lot of spoilers on the musical - it's assumed that you've either seen it, or know a lot about it. That's not so much a spoiler, IMO, but there's other ones very much posted. So welcome, of course, we love new members, but do be warned.

I don't think Fiyero ever really loved Glinda to begin with. He was attracted to her and it was a "Well, we are compatible so what the heck!" situation.

hmm that's interesting..and yes I have seen the musical and read the book..and I absolutely love the show..actually me and two of my friends were GOING to be glinda, (her) elphaba(me) and fiyero (him) for halloween this year...it didn't work out though..but next year we definitely will..or just for fun..and I'll post pictures.
