FEMALE ROLES (How many?)

My theatre company is holding auditions for H2$ in January, and they said that there are more female roles than we think.

So...can anyone give me a list of female characters in H2$?

Smitty (supporting)
Hedy LaRue (supporting)
Miss Jones (between supporting & cameo)
Miss. Krumholtz (cameo)

And I guess the maids. They have dialogue, but only in one scene, and very brief, and the parts will probably be given to ensemble members.

Plus secretary ensemble, which is really outstandingly fun.

At my school we also switched the genders of Mr. Twimble and Mr. Bratt.

A camp I do every summer is doing the show.

But this year I join the rising highschoolers so who knows what will happen. Last summer I was actually ironically able to snag a lead in the middleschool camp...so I'm not quite sure what will happen with this...

My dad was Finch in highschool wayback when

He says he doesn't like the view it has on women workers.

So I know the show a little...but I'm gonna get in to it real soon I'm sure...

What do the Girls do?

oh gosh. i cant even remember; i was in it last spring. I'm pretty sure they were in the song "Cinderella Darling" with Smitty and Rosemary and that whole gang. And I know they had a few lines somewhere else, I'm just not sure. The wickette girls get a dance, and you get to stand there in a skanky pirate outfit and say "The first clue! oooooh!" like 4 times. haha. When i was in it, the four of us did a whole routine before hedy came out and we got alot of laughs. The maids in our production were HILARIOUS! I'm not sure why, but just the way they said those few lines. The audience loved them.
