Female Duets

Can anyone give me some good songs/suggestions for female duets? I'm not auditioning for anything at the moment..but I also do voice recitals and this past year I did In His Eyes from Jekyll and Hyde with my best friend.. I'd love to do it again with someone in my voice recital. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thank you.

if you search around there are TONS of posts asking for duets

off the top of my head (not knowing your voice parts)

"Marry the Man Today"- Guys & Dolls, mezzo/soprano
"Every day a little death"- Little Night Music, mezzo/low soprano
"A Boy Like that/I have a love"- WSS, low mezzo/high soprano
"What you don't know about women"- City of Angels, mezzo/alto
"Ohio"- WOnderful Town- mezzo/ ?
"We Are Women"- Candide (love this one), mezzo/soprano
"Sisters" White Christmas- mezzo/mezzo

Maybe it's cuz I'm in WSS right now, but 'A Boy Like That/I Have a Love' is currently like the most brilliant piece of music in the world to me. Highly recommend that.

I've always liked "I still believe" from Miss Saigon.
Glissando

"Some Things Are Meant To Be" from Little Women- Mezzo/high mezzo but still not a soprano
"Livin' Like The Other Half" from Thoroughly Modern Millie- Soprano/mezzo
Francois

I LOVE "Every Little Nothing" from Little Mary Sunshine, especially if one of the singers is a Power Alto/Mezzo.
dinosaur :]

There's a couple in Wicked, since the main characters are female.
Not knowing your ranges, I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure sopranos would find these parts easier Smile
For Good
What Is This Feeling?

And Defying Gravity has a bit at the end where Glinda joins in, but until then it's a belt-y, shouty solo from Elphaba Smile

And Marry The Man Today from Guys and Dolls. I know it's been suggested already but it's fun Smile

If I think of any from any other shows I'll post them for you Smile[/i]
music is my life!!!

stepsisters' lament - cinderella (usually a mezzo and sop but the ranges aren't very wide)
baby, dream your dream - sweet charity (mezzo and alto/mezzo)
nowadays - chicago (mezzo and alto)

i think that's it...
blue wind

"Caitlyn and Haley" from Edges is a great one!
