I don't think that either of those songs would be remotely appropriate for an audition for Rosie.

I know this is a crappy post since I can't think of anything better for you to use at the moment, but if I do, I will post again. Maybe someone else can suggest something while I get over being braindead!

Like Broadway Bud said, not Think of Me! Not only is Think of Me horrendously over-done, it's not in the correct range for Rosie (Christine being a lyric soprano and Rosie being a belty sort of alto). I'm not an expert on song choice, so I'd reccomend looking at some of the alto selections in the song choice thread (auditions board). Try to pick out a piece that embodies what you feel Rosie's character is. I see Rosie as head strong, sensible, and independent. She definately wears the pants in her relationship with Albert. If you can, look for a show with a similair character who is either an alto or a low mezzo, and choose an appropriate song from that. That's all the advice I can give.

If they mentioned that you can do a song from the show, why not do that? I'd pick "Spanish Rose" since it shows acting skills along with vocals. If you can't do a song from the show, how about something like...

"Out Tonight" - Rent
"I'm Not at all in Love" - The Pajama Game
"Adelaide's Lament" - Guys and Dolls

I'm not a song choice expert, but I think those are pretty good if you're auditioning for Rosie. I'll try to post some more later. =]

P.S. I wouldn't sing "Think of Me." It's a lot different from Rosie's voice type, so I don't think that would be such a good choice. Try something beltier (I think I just made that word up, haha...oh well!)
