Favorite Spelling Bee Lines/Moments?

What are your favorite lines/moments from the show?

I don't think I'm getting these right, but here are mine:

The little 10 year old girl was kept laughing, "Ms. ____ likes to intimidate her opponents by giggling"

Guy had really nice gelled, styled hair, "Mr. ___ Might win today if he spent as much time styling his hair as he did on spelling........"

"Ms. __ Was thrown out of Girl Scouts for letting the boys eat her cookies."

"....................................I fell.........."

"Don't you think it's kinda weird that I keep getting words relating to South American Rodents???....." -ANDREWKEENNANBOLGER
"Hilarious."

"Mom! Dad! Marigold! Brooke! Pinecone! Landscape! Raisin! Paul!..... You're not Paul..."

"Leaf Coneybear has cats.............."

"VICE principal. VICE. principal."

"I don't have a magical foot......"

"We're not at church, you can talk..."

"Whoops.........(spills coke)"

"Daddy conference, NOW"

Leaf came in with his lunch sack, started eating his sandwich, spit it out into the bag when it was his turn.

"Vug? So simple?"

"__'s Mommy told her that her Cystitis made her special."

I don't remember how it went, but the whole "Tittup! Tittup! Tittup!" part..

"WHAT?!?!?!?! Didn't that guy over there just get mexicans?!?!?!"

"I've never been in a gym with angels on the ceiling..." (Referring to the theater ceiling)
"I've never been in a gym..."

"Also, this isn't really the type of thing I carry very much about..."

and I saw this one on broadwayworld.com "Mr. Panic gets confused when his spelling coach says Panic, calm down. Panic, calm down."

Kentucky Fried Performance

The night I saw it, one of the audience members who "guest star" as spelling bee contestants was a man in his 50s or so, with a neatly trimmed white beard. Maybe he was wearing mostly white too.

Anyway, the first time he got up to spell, Rona said something to the effect of "Besides being an outstanding speller, Mr. Johnson has just finished starring in his high school production of The Life and Times of Colonel Sanders."

Very Funny!

And the second audience member to get up there was a young guy wearing shorts, and, like, a sun visor, like you wear at a tennis match. And Rona said, "As he left the house today, Mr. Smith told his mother, 'I'm dressed fine, mom. It's jut a spelling bee. It's not like it's a BROADWAY SHOW."

Also Very Funny.

SRY for the bump.

The night I saw it my friend got to be in the Bee, and one of his words was phylactery (I think it's Scripture that Jews put under their arms). When he asked for usage in a sentence Panch said, "Put down that phylactery, we're Episcopalian!"

My friend was also the one to get cow (isn't it in every show?). It was funny when he asked for a definition and Panch said, "No." When used in a sentence Panch said, "Please spell cow." Laughing

I got to see it's second to last show on Broadway. Great show! Applause

I think my favorite improvised line about the audience guests was when the first lady came up (who was wearing a white blouse and a black skirt with white flowers), Rona said, "____ looks forward to the day when her favorite styles come out in color." Laughing

I also loved when I saw the tour, they announced schools in the area that all of the kids attended, based on their reputations. Logainne went to the same elementary school I did! Hahaha. That was so excellent.

When I went, they had "Mr _______ has a birthmark shaped like the Phillipines."

The lines about the audience members are always by far the funniest. I had the cow line done to me... fun times.
