Favorite SongWell I must admit that my favorite song from Jekyll and hyde is This is the Moment. it is an incredibly beautiful song. Add that with the evilness that fills Alive and you have one of the best ten minutes in broadway history in my opinion.

My favorite is Murder, Murder...
Am I the only one who seems to like it?
There's something about it. It's such a complex song, and the chorus changes so much.
I also adore Dangerous Game, and Bring on the Men is fun too.

I love "Dangerous Game" (off the original recording, not so much the gothic recording) and "Your Work - And Nothing More" (again original) for it's beautiful harmonies.
The problem with this musical, is that it has some excellent songs, but is let down by way too many power ballads! Don't get me wrong, some of them are beautiful (My favs being "In His Eyes" and "I Need To Know"), but there are far too many!
P.S. I love "Murder, Murder" now, but only after it annoyed the hell out of me for about a month.

I saw a local production of Jekyll and Hyde. In my opinion, unlike some of the musicals that have a few wonderful songs, and a few filler songs that are just there to drag on the time, every song in J + H is memorable.
It's hard for me to choose a favorite because every song stands out so much.
But one thing that got on my nerves was the constant reprising of 'Facade'
The song was great in the begining, with all the townspeople. But right after Dangerous Game - (It was so hilarious. They were on a bed, and the bed was rolling out and got stuck in the far right of the stage, so Hyde had to get up and push Lucy and the bed off stage )
A few people came out and started singing Facade again. And it was just being filled into various parts of the show. I didn't think that was nessecary.

My personal favorite is Confrontation. I love how he is kind of talking to himself, arguing with his darker side.

Of those on there I would say Alive, but personally I'll have to go with Murder, Murder. But that's just my 25 cents.

Murder Murder is so awful! its got a very memorable and well composed melody but the lyrics! ugh one of the single worst lyrics in the history of musical theatre.

But none of J&H's lyrics are very good. It's a Wildhorn production. It's just fun.

I think this poll could have included a lot more songs.
For me, my favorites are "Once Upon A Dream," "In His Eyes," "Dangerous Game" and I do like the melodies of "A New Life" and "No One Knows Who I Am," even though they can be boring and repetitive.
In general, the lyrics to Jekyll and Hyde suck. The melodies are all very pretty, but the lyrics...
Do the lyrics of "Bring on the Men" remind anyone besides me of "Lovely Ladies" from Les Mis?

My favorites are "In His Eyes", "His Work and Nothing More", "Alive", and "Confrontation" . I like most of it, though.
