Mine would have to be the "Quintet" scene when every character is singing at the same time, showing their own personal emotions. It's a fantastic scene and works very well, all of their personalities being showcased in song at the same time. Very powerful and beautiful!

I also like "A Boy Like That"/"I Have Love". Anita is singing at almost the lowest of the Alto part and Maria is singing at about the highest of the soprano range. It's an amazing contrast.

My favorites are 'Somewhere" and "The Dance at the Gym". I also love both tonights. The whole musical is flawless; these are just my absolute favorites.

hay I love west side story and I think my fave song is theres a place for us it makes me cry very time. I wont to see the show live but i dont know if i will be disappointed becuse the film is so good

Somewhere makes me cry every time I hear it. My favorite dancing sequence is in the mambo, cuz that's when Riff and his girl try to out dance Nardo and Anita. And there's some great, intense partnering stuff that can happen there. That's usually when the big money lifts and the multiple pirouettes come out!

Gee, Officer Krupke. =P The funny voices the gang members put on just make me laugh.

Maria's vocal range is outstanding. I love singing her songs, because they are challenging for me. =]

I love Tonight, Somewhere and America.

And i can't forget Something's Coming.

From a performance standpoint the Blues dance at the gym is really fun, and so is Cool.
