Mean Green's not in the play version. More's the pity.

Really, the plant's vocal bit is pretty small... Feed Me/Git It and the two Suppertimes... Suppertime's fun (the first time moreso than the reprise) but Git It, especially the end of it when you REALLY get to wail is a blast.

Mean Green Mother is not in STANDARD productions of Little Shop. However, one UK West End productiona nd countless regional and amateur groups have included the song.

The trouble is the rapid lyrics and movement, which are hard for the puppeteers to keep up with. To shoot the film, it had to be filmed in slow motion.
