Chapter Twenty: Bishop’s Fork Attack

Lucifer enters Cataract Caverns and finds Artemis, Cirius and the Sibs. Munkustrap looks over the battlefield, trying to find Onaghan, and discovers the Scouts have left. Adrasteia, Jerrie, Teazer and Blaze tracks down Bohfalar... Griddlebone, Tuki and Ehkhan manage to get to Goldmane Castle - right into a very troubled city... Onaghan finds that he is in his bed and under Cassandra's care... After leaving the others, Lucifer consults with Charumcah... Demeter is shown a very disturbing vision by Redtail...

Chapter Twenty-One: Rook's Fork Attack

Genesis and Renessa are taken to the Siamese Hidden City and they talk with Genghis about the Prophesy of the Warrior and the Mistress. Later, they face a council of Elders and Renessa discovers her task - awaken a warrior in a coma... Demeter rides to Guardian City where she collects the First Tribe members there. Then, they race to Redrock... Sohton is wounded as the Northern Alliance attacks Gullwing Castle and Portsmouth. Kheyla is about to order him to see his Physicians when something happens to the Rocklund fleet... Cirius, Artemis and the Sibs discover something about where Lucifer is going...
