Okay...one of my best friend's high school is doing "Fame".

I am seeing it tomorrow night to support him because he helped on stage crew for it, etc.

What's everyone's opinion of it?

i saw it when i was 11 on my birthday and i din't really get it but when i look at the story and music now, i really love it! my mum expected it to be like the movie but it's very, VERY different!

I think it's hilarious. I was in the ensemble a summer ago. Some parts lag but the songs are alot of fun. Especially "Can't Keep It Down". That's a show I'd love to do again.

It's not the most emotionally demanding musical out there, but it was great fun to perform - the show only works if the cast is highly energetic/enthusiastic, and if the choreography is right.

The performance I saw of it was awesome!...a lot of energy, enthusiasm, etc.

But the sound system failed them.
