Fagin-ish song?

Hi all,
I've used "Pick a Pocket or Two" for an audition song in the past with some success and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a similar song? I'm looking for something along the same lines stylistically, range wise, etc. but sans the accent. There's something about the song that just doesn't work for me with a standard American accent. I guess you could look at it like this: if you were auditioning for the part of Fagin, but didn't want to sing a song from the show or use a piece with an accent, what would you use? Thanks in advance!
