Ever been injured right before a much-anticipated monologue?Dear Musicals.Net Posters,
Have you ever been injured onstage, right before you were supposed to perform a much-anticipated monologue...OR song...?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Oh gosh...the day of a MAJOR performance at an outdoor ampitheatre (estimated audience was around 1,000)...I had a really horrible case of food poisoning.
Just before I went on, I was living in the bathroom...I was taking Pedialite...loads of Imodium...
oh yeah...did I mention it was around 90 degrees out?
I took the stage for my first song, hoping I wouldn't have an accident on stage...(Have I said too much? LOL!)
Luckily, adrenaline took over and I managed to give a pretty great performance. But right afterwards, I was sick all over again!

The guy who played Sebastian in my production of The Tempest fell off the stage while he was performing a monologue.
