Eulalie againI'm looking for specific suggestions on playing Eulalie. --Great gimmicks, techniques, etc. It's a role I'm excited, but unsure about. --Don't know that I'm a natural comedienne. If you or the Eulalie in your production had some terrific ideas, please pass them along! Thx.

I always thought that what made Eulalie funny was how seriously she took herself.
Be completely over the top as you can. Just make sure you take yourself too seriously.

Yes, Eulalie is over the top, as Inara says, but play her absolutely straight. Be just as serious as she is. You don't have to play her for laughs, because the laughs are already there. She's the Domina of MM. Good luck!!

basically nothing...Eulalie seems to fit with red hair...you know, kind of comical
our Eulalie wore a red wig, and to make it funny, she would always be adjusting it onstage...the audience thought it was hilarious!
