Erik and Raoul: Hair colors!Dear "TPotO" Fans,I'm curious to know what Erik and Raoul look like, with regards to their hair colors? What does the novel's Erik look like? What is his real hair color? Does he wear a wig, and if he does wear a wig, what color is the wig? What colors are Erik's hair, and his wig, in most of the stage productions of the musical? What was the color of the hair of the novel's Raoul? What color hair does he usually have in the stage musical? Thanks in advance for your replies.

I don't remember if novel Erik wore a wig, but I do know that he ahd only a few strands of hair on his head...black I think. In the stage musicals, it's usualyl a dark brown wig.
And the only thing I remember about novel Raoul is that he had a mustache. In the show, I think Raoul basically has whatever hair the actor has. |

Lately, I've run into some redheaded Erik designs that are actually rather nice.

Raoul in the OCC was blonde. Very blonde.
I wonder how Christine figures out that The Phantom wears a wig? She only removes the mask in Act 1. Andy. |

Actually, Raoul was blond in the book and did have a little bit of a mustache and Raoul in OLC, Steve Barton, was blond too, in addition to the OCC Raoul, Byron Nease. I've alway preferred a blond Raoul. |

A redhead Erik would be interesting. I have auburn hair myself, and there's such a lack of redheaded characters in shows  . I can see Raoul as either a blonde or brown-headed.

May I ask a question? What is it with everyone asking these questions about hair color? I commented on another Raoul hair color thread, not to mention a Meg, and Christine one.
