electra playbill

I recently found my playbill from when I went to see cats in CT and was kind of surprised to see electra on the front! (dunno why i hadnt noticed before)

Honestly I dont think she gets enough credit.

OH WOW!!!

That picture has definitely made my day!

I too feel like Little Miss Electra never gets enough credit in the world of CATS, especially seeing as I just played her in a performance of CATS! (I was the youngest person in the cast)

Thank you!

Yeah, I've lost it...

Cute pictures, but I really don't understand why the have Electra in the playbill, considering she's not in the US Tour Rolling Eyes it's like the black and white Alonzo... I think they should do more accurate pictures for the US. Costumes are too different from the London style and I find it confusing to have ads with London costumes.

As much as I *love* Electra (we all know by now she's my favourite character, yes? I puff proudly to have been the forum's Ele for... forever), I've never understood why she's so featured in advertisements.

She is very uniquely designed, and I've always thought that this was why. She's got a very pleasing costume, and, while she may not be the most recognisable of the characters (or the largest, though I do understand hers is a large dance role?), she definately has a very 'feline' look about her. Her stripes are busy as many patterns of real cats are, and her whiskers and definately identifiying.

I'm not going to complain about my Electra being the main advertising figure, but I do think it is a bit unusual.

Perhaps some others have a greater reason why...

She's so CUTE!!!!! *squee*

I feel so lucky, to have been cast as my favourite tom (Tumble!!) and understudy as my favourite queen (Electra)!! Very Happy

My Playbill from the tour I saw had Electra on it too, as well as the black and white Alonzo and London style Mungojerrie. But Alonzo and Mungojerrie aren't really photographed people- I realized their versions of those coloring sheets that you see on the web, and Electra (an actuall person in costume,) is doing that leap across the page....

As much as I love Electra I have to agree that it is odd for her to be on the cover. To be honest, it threw me off. I expected to see them styled sort of like that Electra and they werent so, yes its definatly confusing. Confused
