Early Look at Stratford Shakespeare Festival 2010 Seasonhttp://www.stratfordfestival.ca/uploadedFiles/Stratford/Watch_and_Listen/Publications/Visitors_Guide/Members%20Guide%202010.pdfyay for Evita and Kiss Me Kate and Christopher Plummer in Tempest! And a super yay for John Doyle directing Kiss Me Kate! I'm excited about the casts too...Chilina Kennedy, the Actress who made her Stratford debut as Maria in WSS (the festival's biggest hit in a while, I think) and Philia in Forum (saw her in this, she was HILARIOUS), is playing Eva, so that should be pretty awsome. Still no word on Che, but I hope it's someone good. Of Course Plummer is going to be awsome! Anyone planning on coming down in the Spring/Summer? |

I am going to try, most definitely. I tried this year, but never managed to get there. Shame. I never been to the Stratford Festival, but considering it is like the biggest theatre thing in Canada, with perhaps the exception of things Mirvish does in good years, I really should be more familiar with it. | ||

I go at least once a year, twice if I get tickets for my Birthday It's amazing, you should really go if you ever get the chance-make a day of it, that's what I do (lunch at Bently's usually, maybe some shopping at the stores and sweets-shops and the show of course). The shows look fantastic this year, and I think they'll really do well with teh Webber (I would've loved to see Evita done on their thrust stage at the Festival theatre, but they're doing Kiss Me kate there and Evita's at the Avon) |
