Great !!! Do you have a bit more informations about it ? I would like to know if they are planning to tour also in the Flemish part of Belgium... please please, a stop in Antwerpen or, even better, in Brussels !!!
But, Amsterdam would be great too, my husband wants to drive there once with me, so... visiting the city AND seeing Cats would be amazing I just checked on the Stage Entertainment site, and here is what I found on the auditions page : "Joop van den Ende Theaterproducties zoekt voor deze nieuwe Nationale Tour 2006-2007 naar: - ZEER GOEDE DANSERS (M/V) - met sterke zangstemmen - ACROBATEN (M/V) - met goede danskwaliteiten - ZEER GOEDE ZANGERS (M/V) - sterke belt en klassieke stemmen Aanmelden auditie voor 28 oktober en uitsluitend met CV en castingfoto('s) naar:" |

Found on the official site :
The Premier will be on October 8th 2006 at the Luxor Theater in Rotterdam. Grizabella will be played by a musicalstar. I'm so happy ! I can't wait to get more tour dates and decide where and when I'll drive to see the show ! I also have to convince my husband to see Cats in Dutch... that will be the hardest point |

a Spanish Cat going to the German tour!!Hello!I have some interesting info. I guess you know that after Cats closed in England, we did our Spanish musical in Madrid. A nice one and very similar to the English version although we didn't have little Etcetera, we had a good Electra who did also part of the other feline's role. Oh well... What I wanted to say is that our Macavity/Plato (Pepe Muņoz) has gone to act in the German tour, well at least that is what he said when he came to my dance/acting class. I am doing an activity called acting dance, which is learning coreographies of some musicals (so far we have done just Copacabana) and then we disguise ourselves and get into the skin of the characters. And my teacher is Hugo Riveros, the Spanish Mungojerrie (you will find pictures of him in this link: http://groups.msn.com/ElRinconDeMungojerrie ) So in fact, Pepe Muņoz came 2 weeks ago to Barcelona to meet Hugo, my teacher and so he came to our class, it was so cool....wow! And that's how I knew that Pepe was taken for the musical in Germany. I hope you like this piece of info... Psyche Cat |

Wow, thanks for that link - the photo gallery is priceless. I love all the shots of Hugo Riveros mugging it up as Mungojerrie, what a ham! I've been sick all day, and that's the first thing to give me such a great laugh in a while, I needed that Also, I really like the recently uploaded shot of Bombalurina and Demeter, lovely ladies, and that make up on Admetus is just stunning. I'm on the wrong side of the Atlantic to have seen the Spanish production, nor will I be able to see the upcoming tour, but it's nice to see these things all the same, and thank you for sharing the info Good luck with your classes, & welcome to the board. Looks like you're off to an awesome start |

Geez! thanx asterix!! well I'm glad to have Hugo as my teacher...hehehe he's a great dancer, I tell you. But he's mostly a great joker too, take a peek at the pictures he made of himself with his cell phone!!! he's hilarious!... on the other hand I wish I could do that display of expressions in one shot of the camera with my cell phone.... I guess it hasn't got that technology...
It is my first year dancing after a great amount of time, I'm 23 now and I did like two years of dance, or body adjustment better, when I was like... 5 or so... And I feel soooo rusty, not-flexible-at-all and not-coordinated-at-all!!!! hahahaha! But I love Hugo's class, I'm enjoying it a lot and I'm discovering a like for the dance that I didn't really had in me. |

Yes, that's right. He is swing in the tour and plays the roles of Munkustrap, Tugger and Plato. I've already seen him as Tugger and enjoyed it. |

The Luxor is an amazing theater. You're french? Oh-la-la! That might be a problem then... And yes, they are still looking for actors... I would totally apply if only I could dance. Still... They're also looking for good singers... But you'll have to be able to dance in every role, is that not true? Well obviously I can dance, but not acrobatic or strong ballet (like, swing your leg to your head and all that). |

To me it's not a problem, I already went to Antwerpen to see Romeo & Julia in Dutch. As for my husband, he saw Cats in German and Les Mis in English, but he does'nt speak German nor English... so I think he should agree. I did not get to call him for more than a week, so I could not ask him |
