Duet for two males

This may not be the place for this topic, but I'll give it a shot...

I have my college honor's recital coming up this March, and I'm sharing my hour with a friend of mine. At my college, it's traditional to close these shared recitals with a duet. I am a tenor (up to about a B flat/B natural) and he is a baritone (up to about an F)...we did a recital together last year as well, and we sang "Lily's Eyes" from The Secret Garden.

I've been trying to come up with a duet for the two of us for this year, and I can't think of ANYTHING! So I was hoping for a little help from you guys. Smile Preferably nothing Adam Guettel, because I'm doing an Adam Guettel set in the recital and I'd like the duet to be something a little different.
I Love Lockstock

'Cop Song' from Urinetown...haha, yay.

Agony from Into the Woods?

Rob
Marcellus

"Scylla and Charybdis" from The Golden Apple (Moross and Latouche, 1954) . Good luck finding sheet music.

"You're Nothing Without Me / I'm Nothing Without You" from City of Angels

"The Babbitt and the Bromide" from Funny Face (Gershwin, 1927). Also sung and danced by Astaire and Kelly in 1946 film Ziegfeld Follies, and included in one of the That's Entertainment MGM compilations.

I was actually gonna reply with this! I LOVE this one!!!
Brigantine

"Live with Somebody you Love" from Martin Guerre.
Martin is a tenor, Arnaud is a high Baritone. I'm not sure what the range is on this song, but it would be a good showcase. (not the best lyrics, kinda cheesy at times, but good music)
Francois

"You Rule My World", from Full Monty, is by two men (and is one Tenor and one High Baritone), although they aren't actually singing to each other.

From the same show, "You Walk With Me" is the love duet between the two gay guys, but the "lower" part has to hit F#.

I don't know the ranges, but what about "But, Mr. Adams" from 1776? Look at the male-heavy shows (Superstar, Dreamcoat, 1776, etc...)

Scratch that--I only thought about one verse! It's not a duet, there and lots of characters in it. But I'm sure something in 1776 is a male-male duet Smile

Till Him from The Producers
Pretty Women from Sweeney Todd

I saw the title and was like "finally I can suggest 'Lily's Eyes!'" Eh, disappointing that I can't suggest it.

Well, either of the "Agony's" from ITW could work. I could also see "Friendship" from Anything Goes working for two guys. Also came up with "Our Time" from Merrily We Roll Along, but now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure it's a trio though can probably be pulled off as a duet.

Well, I wasn't much help, sorry.

If you'd like something from RENT but don't feel like playing lovers, there is always "What You Own"

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone!

I think we're going to end up going with "You're Nothing Without Me" because it'll probably end up being a crowd pleaser. Smile

You don't go to Ithaca by any chance, do you?

Well you said you did Lily's Eyes with some other male at college last year and there's this marvelous video of two Ithaca MTs singing it at some concert or recital I imagine, and thought it might have been you.
