i don't see why a boy like that/ i have a love would be inappropriate
and marry the man today would be good too (i'm doing both those songs in a recital next month, lol) errr....... maybe "how the other half lives" from TMM |

if you're one of the older peeps at your school you could try i still believe from miss saigon?
| sweetsoprano |
If Mama Was Married from Gypsy could work. It's not really soprano, but it's in a fairly neutral range.

"In the Light of the Virgin Morning" from Jane Eyre. it's a duet between Jane (alto/mezzo) and Blanche (soprano). Very beautiful.

How The Other Half Lives is a great song. I'm pretty sure Millie is a mezzo/alto and Dorothy a soprano.
| music is my life!!! |
i'd suggest Dorothy and Gloria's song from Wizard of Oz but they're both kinda soprano parts. if the mezzo out of the 2 of you has strong thin fold voice it could work though...

"I Don't Know His Name" from She Loves Me
"What Did I Ever See in Him" from Bye Bye Birdie "What Is This Feeling?" from Wicked (although this is really two mezzos, not soprano and mezzo) And I second "Marry the Man Today" and "If Momma Was Married." |
