walked by the theatre myself on Tuesday and saw Donnas name up...if I didn't already have a ticket for Next to Normal (ugh), I would've tried for standing room. is Brenda on vacy this week?
and no, the Sopranos peeps are gone, same with DeJean. though, according to MDJ's website, she'll be back as Roxie and then Mona come March?

What can I say?
The woman is FIERCE!! WHAT a performance!
And, I'm happy to say, the rest of the show rose to the same level.
The ensemble remains the best on Broadway, so much heart on that stage, it's truly inpsiring.
Initially, I was disappointed to find out that Michelle DeJean, Aida Turturro and Vincent Pastore had already left the show. But John Schnieder is DREAMY! What a voice! And funny and charming and OMG be still my heart!
Bianca is a true triple threat, and...ROZ IS BACK Y'ALL! (Yay! Is there ANY OTHER Mama?) Rob Bartlett, was HEARTBREAKING as Amos! OMG! I was laughing and crying. He should be Amos forever, but one of the ushers told me his last night is this Sunday. A real shame, because it's a beautiful, virtuoso performance.
Get thee to the Ambassador! You will NOT be disappointed!

Because Bianca is playing Roxie. Not for nothing, a lot of leads started in ensemble roles and have been known to go back and forth.
And if I were DeJean, I'd be taking it from the standpoint of "paycheck or no paycheck."
Frankly, in any production, there is no such thing as a small role

Well what has she been doing since she ended her Roxie run? I wish she could find other another show rather than just going back to Mona. She is extremely talented, and deserves more success.

She's probably been on a small hiatus.... makes sense, since she's only had a few days off here and there....

Is Terra going on the whole time or will Donna Marie go on for a few performances? I remember Donna being Velma for a few weeks during Brenda's vacation the other year.

To the best of my knowledge, Terra is on for Brenda's whole vacation.
