I've played Wendy in Peter Pan, Diana in Anne of Green Gables, and I was the runner up senior vocal winner this year at my music festival. I played Olivia in Twelfth Night and I've done ensemble stuff in Fiddler, Oliver as Fagin's Gang, and Hello Dolly. I think I have an okay voice... I'm a soprano and i've been told I have excellent tone, and my notes make a ringing sound on the end. I sang Danny Boy this year, and the room was silent for about 15 seconds when i finished. I really like it when that happens lol. So ya, I think I can sing the part of Leisl. I really hope so!! My audition is in a week.

I can see you as Liesal for sure. Just make sure your singing and acting skills are great and you will ace it. Sounds like you have had a lot of experience so the best of luck and keep us posted.

You can make just about anyone "look" like a Liesl.... it's the voice and the acting that really count.

Hair color probably won't matter for you individually . . . they'll probably try to cast all of the kids with a similar look, hair color, etc. so that's kinda out of your hands!!

She looks too old for Brigitta (Brigitta is supposed to be 10 or 11!)...

that headshot is fine for community theatre (most people don't have one at all) but it is much too out of focus to submit for professional level, even non-eq summer stock.

Well, you have that look of mischevious..ness-icity. XDD Which is good, since Liesl isn't quite a prim old lady. But you also look old enough to play Liesl. So, I'd say that combined with any of your talents should give you a good chance! Good luck!

sure for liesl. it depends on so many other factors that it's kind of a bad question. it doesn't matter if we think you could be liesl, it's the director's opinion that matters.

the headshot's not bad, but it's a pet peeve of mine when actors submit headshots where their hair is in the way. brush it out of your face and let us see your eyes! should be fine for community theatre, though.
