The Broadway Training Center of Westchester summer performing arts day camps are all set to go -- with a popular new summer I director and exciting show selection!

Session I (June 25-July 29) is our mainstage summer program. Five weeks of rehearsal with director/choreographer AARON SALAZAR (choreographer for BTC's Urinetown and Lucky Stiff) culminate in a full production of "DISNEY'S HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL", Disney Channel's smash hit movie musical come to life!

Disney's High School Musical based on the hit original Disney Channel Movie is a cross between musical theatre and a pop concert, complete with cool lighting, smoke, and other fun stage effects. The BTC production of Disney's High School Musical will have the same production values as our Fall and Spring productions. Sets, Lights, Music, and Mic's are all in store for this high-energy non-stop musical extravaganza. All your favorite songs are in the show, and in the "live" version of HSM, the entire ensemble joins in to sing all the hits along with Taylor, Gabrielle and the gang. And of course all the choreography you love with a new more "current" twist. Plus, let's not forget about all the fantastic Master Classes in Acting, Music, and Dance that we have planned! You will learn invaluable skills that will make you shine not just as a performer, but as a person as well. At this program you will be treated with the respect of a professional; this is not your average "Youth" Summer Theatre Camp, oh no, this summer you will experience a pre-professional environment, where you will feel safe to express yourself and learn and grow as a young artist. We could not be more thrilled about this summer. It is going to be a blast, to say the least! Please join us, and experience the joy and magic of Theatre, Music and Dance.

Session II (July 30-Aug. 10) and Session III (Aug. 13-24) are 2-week Musical Theatre day camps for enthusiastic beginner to intermediate students, offering them the chance to act, sing, and dance in a fun and supportive environment. The Session II & III Musical Theatre Workshops are being directed by popular returning Director/Choreographer Heather LoSchiavo. Campers perform an informal show they have created and rehearsed on the final Friday of each session. Campers can sign up for one or both workshops, as different material is explored in each session. (Special discount if you enroll for both Sessions II and III).
