I played Sarah Brown in my high school production and our performance landed on April fools. We were encouraged not to pull pranks but it was just too temtping. There is a line in the show where Sarah is handing Sky pamphlets to read. Well my mom had just recently been to the hospital and picked up breast augmention pamphlets to give to me as a joke. I put them in Sarah Browns bible and was about to hand them to Sky during a performance but decided at the last minute that it was a really bad idea. I told the guy who played Sky about it later and he said that he would've laughed...so i'm glad i didn't!!

when my high school did Guys and Dolls we had a six performances so we had a few goofs...

1.) When I did Guys and Dolls our set broke. We had a statue of liberty on a moving set piece and her arm fell off during a performance. I had to duct tape the arm back on during our intermission.

2.) When sarah has to slap sky, she really did. the guy who played sky had a huge red hand print on his face. it was a little funny.

3.) During one part when the girls are day-dreaming about their men sky came out with a baby doll for all the performances. but on th elast show he came out with a black doll. the audience laughed because both sky and sarah were white.

4.) we had our football couch play big joulie(spl) he is a very large man. he messed up during a scene and the audienced laughed.

there were many more but these are the best. Hoped this helps!!

I was playing Nathan and it was the anniversary gift scene with the belt. Well Adelaide comes on without the present and I'm like...oh great. So we changed all of the lines to make it fit. Thats why I love theater...
