differences in the revival??

for those who have seen both the original and the revival (or who have listened to the old score and seen the new show), what are the main differences??

except for some voice stylings and, obviously, new castings, i can't tell a difference at all. the tempos are all the same, nothing has been cut. it still includes all my favorites and includes all the segments from "And" and all the montage stuff.

some of the revival cast has stronger voices than the OBC but some of them do not. it's all a matter of personal preference; nothing has been omitted though Smile

in your opinion, which characters are stronger in the revival (compared to the OBC)?

Mari Davis as Maggie was AMAZING! She did an excellent job and was my favorite performer.

1. The revival is an EXACT carbon copy of the original production that played Broadway's Shubert for 15 years. That means, same costumes, lighting design, set, choreography, direction, and musical numbers. Only the orchestrations are slightly altered.

2. The biggest mistake you could make is compare the OBC with the revival cast. Judge the performances on their own. I saw the revival in San Francisco and thought the cast was absolutely perfect.
