did you ever notice...during the holiday season, "My Favorite Things" is ALWAYS played on the radio!! it annoys me so much because it's not a christmas song or anything like that...lol it's pretty random.

Oh, yes...The playing of "Favorite Things" during Christmas is indeed a pain, you must realize that there is a reason people place it there. Although I dislike it being used as a "Christmas" song, you have to admit that the "Favorite Things" being mentioned are things associated with the season...

I know what you mean. Almost all christmas cd's have "My Favorite Things" on them. The song mentions a few seasonal things but... hello... it also talks about springtime and girls in sashes and strudel. It really really annoys me because some non-musical people thinks its a christmas carol until someone makes them watch the show. Grr...
