Day of Tickets - LondonHey all,
Does anyone know relatively when one should show up at the theatre to get the day-of tickets in London? I'm going to London (yet again, WAHOO) in the middle of May for a week, and I plan to at least see the show once or twice while I'm there.

Depends, I'm presuming you don't want top price seats being as you've seen it a ton before?
If not, I'd say buy them first thing (about 10) and then have a walk around or have lunch or something then see the show (if it's a matinee).
Or for an evening just turn up about an huor before the show and hope for the best, even if you're put at the back, never mind.

I think you misunderstand, I mean the day of seats for the first two rows. I know they're sold when the theatre opens at 10, but I was just asking when I might have to show up to get one. 6am?
Thanks!

I went to see it a while ago, and met two fans at the stage door. They'd got the in line to get the tickets for the first two rows, and had sat outside the theatre at 6:30am and were second and third in line. I suggest getting there at any time between 6:00am and 7:00am to be in with a good chance of getting the tickets you want.

I've had them a few times, during half term we went at five and were first in line. Then on a normal tuesday we went at 7.30 and were first in line again. So I would say between 7 and 8 on a normal day would get you them fine. I think its tickets only for the first row though isn't it?

When in May are you going to be there? There's a week school holiday in May, and if you're going to be there then, you'll need to be there by 6am. During Half Term all the 14, 15 year old fans are free to roam... Weekdays when there's not school holidays, 8.30, 9am will get you comfortably in the queue if not the front. Wednesday is the best time to go, especially if you can go to either matinee or evening.

For a Saturday - the night before.
For normal week - 8am-9am
Half Term week - 7am-8am
If popular understudies are scheduled to be on then it'll be the night before

I feel sorry for all the rough sleepers who used to sleep on the theatre steps! Now how are they to get a night's sleep??
