I'm considering auditioning for this show. I love musicals with lots of dancing I have not seen this show in a long time, but I'm planning on watching it when I get my hands on a copy. What female roles are required to be dancers?

All of the female parts pretty much involve dancing. The follie girls are basically there just to dance. Tess is their leader...she and another girl named Patsy are the big follie girl dancers. Also, Polly dance a great deal.

Lottie Child, Irene, and Patrica could get off dance free dependeing on what your director wants.

Well the Follies sing on "Can't be Bothered Now," "Entrance to Nevada," "Slap That Bass," "Tonight's the Night," a little on "Real American Folk Song," "Stiff Upper Lip," and "I've got Rhythm". A few girls sing on "Nice Work if You Can Get it." Then everyone at the end.

Polly has a lot of songs.

Irene sings "Naughty Baby."

Patricia sings on "Stiff Upper Lip."

Tess does everything the Follies do.

And Lottie just sings with the company a little.
