Cut Songs: I Remember Love

"I Remember Love" was originally in TDC as the duet for Tottendale and Underling, but was replaced by "Love Is Always Lovely In The End". From what I heard, "I Remember Love" is on the OBC, but unfortunately I don't have the money to buy it right now. Can someone please provide a link to where I can hear it?

I had that song in my iPod before but after a few times listening to it, I decided to give it the shafting. I wasn't really taken in by the song unfortunately.

I much prefer I Remember Love to Love is Always Lovely.

You can look it up on Itunes or probably Amazon.com to hear it.

I haven't heard the new song, but I saw the original production in LA and the choice to cut it isn't surprising.

Does anyone know if you can hear this song online, this show is so funny!

Wait, when did it get cut? I thought I saw it with both songs in it, though I suppose that doesn't make much sense. I saw it on the 5th or 6th preview on Broadway, I think...

And does that mean that the Caucasians/Asians song was also cut, since that is out of place on the recording? I love that song, and it was so hilarious in the show!

The Caucasians/Asians song wasn't cut - they just put it at the end of the recording because it wouldn't really make sense for it to go in the middle. Or at least, it wasn't cut when I last saw it which was about a year and a half ago. (Wow, that was a while ago.)

I prefer Love is Always Lovely in the End. I saw both live (I saw the touring production before it landed on Broadway), and the new version is definitely much better.

They also changed Bridge's Lament quite a bit after the tour. I can't remember exactly, but I think the "NO NO NO!" bit was a product of Broadway.

So then they were both in there, and I'm not going crazy?

I guess the Bride's Lament had already changed when I saw it, though, because I'm almost positive it sounded like what was on the recording.

I love "I Remember Love"! Its so funny! I don't get why they cut it, but "Love is Always Lovely" is just as cute.

Message from a Nightingale (aka "the Asians/Caucasions song") is still in the show.
