Curtains closing in June

So Curtains is closing in June and I was a bit surprised when I came on here to find a thread about the show in general and really couldn't find one. Anyhoo, I'm seeing it this weekend and was wondering what you all thought of the show? Good...bad...indifferent?

Curtains is an excellent show, in my opinion. I saw it back in August. It's mostly just a lot of fun...lots of good laughs. Debra Monk and David Hyde Pierce are both absolutely wonderful. It diffinantly ranks amongst my favorite Kander and Ebb shows.

Curtains is Kander and Ebb? Oy vey, where have I been!?
Sweeney Hyde

It's one of the their shows that has gone unproduced on Broadway until now/recently. The original book was by Peter Stone, the revised book is by Rupert Holmes, who also wrote additional lyrics along with John Kander.

Quick Question(?)

So, I'm going to NYC in May, and I was sort-of half-thinking of going to see Curtains (not that I didn't want to go see it, but I figured it would be running a while Sad ). Now that I know that it's closing, I definitely want to see if I can get my hands on some tickets!

Anway, I know the basic plot of the show and such, but I have a strange-ish question related to it. I know that there are gun shots throughout the show, but exactly (or a rough estimate) how many are there, and how loud are they? One of the people that I'm going to see it with has a problem with such things, but if they're not too bad, he should be all set.

Thanks!

P.S. Who's the killer? Razz
