well lke I said thats an iption but if they dont its always Higgins who gets last call since he is technically the lead role. and its usually the star part in pro productions.

That was the way it was done in the production I was involved in, although Liza bowed lst as she was in her last production for the school and Higgins had a year or two to go.

I don't know why, though. It just seems right.

i would think that Higgins and Eliza would come on together, and the "customary" way to do it would be to have the lady bow first and then the man.
however, this is hardly ever followed today, and it is totally a directorial call

its Higgins' story. Eliza shouldnt get last bow.
besides they always cast the big name as Higgins not Eliza.

How is it Higgins' story more than it is Eliza's?

he is the pygmalion of teh title. its am asculinr title for the musical "MY fair lady" its his journey. Higgins learns how to deal with people he has a journey.
And the star actor always plays Higgins. the eliza's have not been as known.
