Current NETworks Tour (worth seeing?)

I just found out the current NETworks tour is coming to a town in my state. I am very unfamiliar with the revival concept and how well it was (is?) recepted among the general Sweeney community.

General question: is it worth seeing?

while i will admit to not seeing it, i will say that i detest the soundtrack and all the clips i've seen on youtube and when they were on the Tonys make me want to never see that version of the show. i LOVE the way it's done originally and to me, that is the ONLY way it should ever be done.

my 2 cents. Mr. Green

The concept of the revival seems very well received across Broadwayworld (I was bored so I was actually searching all the Sweeney threads once) - their enthusiasm actually sparked my interest in it. Especially one day when Sondheim/the cast participated in a signing.

The current tour is non-equity (as you probably know), and while I wasn't particularly impressed with their promo video the response on Broadwayworld forums was also quite good some saying it's the best non-equity tour they've ever seen.

I'd see it.
