Hey! i'm new and i saw RENT Jan. 1st and i was really worried about not liking the cast from being soo used to the oringinal well i loved it soo much!!! and Kelly karbacz who plays Maureen was AMAZING!! i was wondering if anyone knows when she is leaving? cause i am hoping to get to see her again also on March 20th i am seeing the tour in Wash. D.C. and i am very excited about that

If you're seeing the tour, you will not see Kelly because she is the Broadway Maureen. The tour Maureen is Ava Schlink.

Though you won't be seeing Kelly Karbacz, I think you won't be disappointed with Ava Schlink. She makes a wonderful Maureen, at least in my opinion.

i looooooooooove idina as maureen. she's just so gorgeous and talented. kelly isn't THAT bad, but i think idina's just amazing!

mark, which maureen do you like best? (ironic wording lol) i agree that at times idina probably could have gotten a bit more loose and into the character, but i think her performence was solid. i think very highly of her capabilities.

I'm standing with Marky. Thanks to the wonderful quantity of people with small videocameras and trenchcoats who use the internet (Kevin can't get to NY), I can now TRULY state that my favorite Maureen was Sherie (Rene) Scott, and that Idina was kinda...constrained, maybe?

I absolutely loved Maggie Benjamin but I should really should reserve judgement until I have seen more Maureens. For the moment though, Maggie is my favorite.
