Crybaby The Musical ?Hey, anyone heard about Crybaby coming to Broadway? My uncle (Patrick Garner) was going to audition for it but couldn't because he was in Happy Days. Any information would be greatly appreciated! |

I've never seen it but I've heard good things about it, and it could possibly contend for a 2008 Best Musical Tony. |

Saw the first preview last night. Anyone else there? If you have questions totally ask and I'll answer when I get home tonight I'm off to work! (Otherwise I'd do a detailed overview!) |

I'm assuming we're talking about that movie that Johnny Depp was in when he was young. I don't know what else it would be, but there may be something else. I watched the last half hour (give or take a few minutes) of this movie once and frankly, I thought it was really weird. I don't know how good of a musical it'll be, although maybe I'd understand it better if I watched the whole thing. |

I left NYC a couple days before the previews started. From what I have heard of it, it sounds pretty good, but not like the next Hairspray. It will probably be nominated for Best Musical, and could possibly win. Look at some of the shows we've got this year. "Xanadu", "The Little Mermaid". It reminds me of 1995, when the only 2 decent shows were "Sunset Boulevard" and "Smokey Joe's Cafe", and I don't particularly care for the latter. |

I just saw it. 'Twas pretty good. Basically Grease, except sarcastic and making fun of itself. |
