[Ulla Dance Again!]

Not sure if anyone's posted anything about this... nor am I sure if this the right section, but what the heck.

Anyways, I was wondering what everyone thinks about Cry Baby coming to Broadway. I found a little mention for it on JDA (Johnny Depp Admirers), you can read it here.

I'm pretty psyched that it's heading off to Broadway... hopefully it'll work as well as Hairspray (on stage, I mean).

I Think it'll be more like a Hairspray just............less Perkier. It'll end up like an edgier Grease. I actually think I heard that one of the songs would be called "Girl can I kiss you open-mouthed tounged?" or something like that. So f you ever seen the movie you can have a pretty good idea of what the musical will be like. I think it'd be great! Sign me up for auditions annnytime!

Yes, I heard about this and I'm excited! I love the movie (um, but that may have a lot to do with the presence of Johnny Depp in it), and I agree that it'll probably come off a bit like Grease...

I love John Waters films. I really hope this musical is as successful as Hairspray--I think it has a pretty good chance, though it probably has an equal chance of sucking. Hmm.
